I should get my second film in tomorrow. However, crazy family stuff is going on so it might be Saturday before I get it up. We'll see.

I'm on the edge of my seat!

It feels so weird that I can't pick out another matchup. There's an emptiness!

I feel this emptiness as well! I need to be filled with the Far East!

You'll all be relieved to know that the people with outstanding matchups all have the best of intentions.  :)

Totally. I may end up rewatching some of the better films I had to kick out to see any of them deserve my support for resurrection.

Since I've got nothing much else to do for the bracket right now just a few things I'd like to note.

I'd like to see Shower and After Life as seeded entries in the second round. They are awesome.

I don't have any losers from my three pairs that I care about resurrection but I would like to see two others get another chance.
1. Maborosi because I'm digging Koreeda, though based on the quotes in Smirnoff's review, it does seem like it might work less well than the two I've seen.
2. Kurosawa's Dreams which is second only to Ran among the 4 of his I've seen (ahead of Seven Samurai and Rashomon). Though judging from pix's resurrection forecast it doesn't sound as optimistic. Speaking of which, I need to watch this again and it is on Instant.

Verdict on Sunday. Sorry it'll take that long, I'm an idiot when it comes to time management.

World Cup Fever > Bracket Fever

It's okay.  I understand.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.
