Where is your match-up roujin?

Would like to take:

Red Firecracker, Green Firecracker vs He's a Woman, She's a Man

Picked because I like their names, I have not seen them and I have not read the reviews for them in the first round, going in cold.

And I put both of those forward! There's a correct choice in that matchup. Don't disappoint me!

Smirnoff, I should be done with my matchup this weekend. Hint: both of these should be in the next round.

Actually, each matchup needs to have one film in blue (the top half of the seeds) and one film in black (the bottom half).  Both of the films above are in black, so they can't face each other, I'm afraid.

The list of available films for the second round is up.  To join in, just let me know which two films you want to watch (either in this thread or in a PM).  You must match up one film in blue with one film in black.  Otherwise, everything's fair game (though, as always, I encourage you to discover new films rather than revisiting old favorites; there'll be time for that in later rounds).

Bracket fever!

pix, you astonish me. So many possibilities!

I'll take Bounce KO Gals vs Whisper of the Heart, which is top of my queue anyway.

(I choose you, Pikachu!)

You seem like a swell gal Tiny, but if by some insane chance you don't advance Whisper Of The Heart you will forever be dead to me. Just letting you know  :)

Aahhh!! The threats have made their way from the 80s US bracket into the Far East! We will all end these brackets huddled and whimpering in our individual chambers.

I probably won't be able to finish my round 2 matchup until next week. Who's gonna be the first? :)

Adrenaline Drive v Vive L'Amour, please. Should be good times.

Something to keep in mind for future round two matchups:

There are enough of the seeded films (the ones in blue) on Netflix that they can be fair game for everyone.  Netflix has very few of the unseeded films, however, so if you have access to a lot of the "unavilable from Netflix" films, it'd be  great if you could choose your unseeded films from that list.

Thanks!
