Pix, anything good to pair with Ringu. I'm feeling I need a Shocktober relevant bracket matchup.

There's no real natural matchup there. I think License to Live might be your best bet, as it's from a director often associated with horror (but working well outside the genre here, I think).

I'll need to do some searching to see what is available to me, but expect me to submit a matchup proposal by the end of the weekend.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

OK, next!

Picking two I can get hold of at random, how about:

Shower (1999) (blue list) vs Kung Fu Cult Master (1993) (black list)?

Would it be impertinent of me to ask how round 1 resurrections are going?

Picking up speed. I've already watch two from the next batch and three from the batch after that.

It's been a while since I've seen a good film, but I'm sustained by the fact that I have two Stephen Chow films coming up (From Beijing with Love and Out of the Dark). Then again, watching them probably isn't a great use of my time since there are enough Chow films in round two of the bracket already that resurrecting more would be a bit much. It's too bad, too, because something like Fight Back to School is otherwise worthy of another look by someone.

Here's the breakdown of the films I've watched to date (including some that have not yet been reviewed):

A    2%
A-   2%
B+   2%
B   22%
B-  21%
C+  12%
C   21%
C-  19%

I sometimes wish you all weren't doing such a great job kicking out the right films.  :)

Martyrdom!
