Ghibli v Wong, can't go wong with that.

Spoilers!

I'm ignoring your verdict until I get my own posted. The suspense will motivate me.

Looking forward to it. Could be the first film to advance to the sweet sixteen!

I have both films sitting in front of me, but I haven't been watching any movies for the last few weeks.  Getting to them soon.

Now that I've posted my verdict, I'd like to join in the challenge between Hanabi and Vive l'Amour, if there's still room.  I have them both ready to go on Amazon.

Let me try to get my verdict up for that matchup soon (Filmspots might make that tricky) to see if there's a need for a tiebreaker between Teproc and me. (I still haven't looked at his verdict.) There's really not room until that happens, unfortunately, because another verdict would risk nullifying mine.

Can I be the tiebreaker on The Scent of Green Papaya vs After the Rain?
I watched After the Rain eight years ago and gave it a solid 8/10 so Scent of Papaya isn't getting an easy draw but it's certainly a beatable rating. I'll be rewatching it anyway, so who knows how it'll hold up and I've been meaning to watch Scent of Papaya for a long time. Also this is a matchup I'll get to this month.

I'll take Only Yesterday vs Made in Hong Kong next.

Just, rewatched After the Rain. Need some time to consider, they were both really good, similar in some ways yet so different in others. Tough choice.
