Can I do Sonatine vs. Rice People next Pix?

Yes, please!

Anyone else want to join ProperCharlie on this matchup? The second slot is open as well.

I'd sure like to see the 1990's Far East Bracket find its way over the finish line. I commit to watching my matchup now that I have some free time and because 1SO helped me find one of the movies. :)

Do I have a match-up right now?
If not, can I get one?

You don't. The ones available right now are

Comrades, Almost a Love Story vs Like Grains of Sand
Chungking Express vs Cageman
Sonatine vs Rice People
Happy Together vs Audition

Looks like you advanced Audition in round 3 and Sonatine in round 4 though, so only the first two I guess.

Edit: There's also Spring in My Hometown vs The Puppetmaster, but you've advanced both of those in previous rounds so that's ineligible too, if I remember how this works correctly.

If your only possible matchups are those where you've seen one (or even both) previously, the preference is for you to list out those possibilities and have one chosen randomly for you. And that's really just to keep people from either protecting their favorites or eliminating their non-favorites.

But that's also just a guideline. I'm all for whatever it takes to see this thing through to completion.

If Beavermoose doesn't want Comrades, Almost a Love Story (available on YouTube) vs. Like Grains of Sand, I'd be interested. The only catch is I don't know how to view Like Grains of Sand.

I could also take Happy Together vs Audition, but my library is closed indefinitely. Maybe I could get them in April. :/

Hmm, Sandy watching Audition. That would be interesting.

I think I'll take Chungking Express and Cageman. It'll give me an excuse to show Chunking Express to my girlfriend.

Hurray! I've seen both of those, so couldn't take them.

Very. I'm nervous about it, but in the pursuit of Far East Bracket completion, I'm gonna do my part!

I've heard that my library is working on opening in a limited way, so may be able to get Happy Together and Audition sooner than later, but until that happens, if anyone knows how to watch Like Grains of Sand, I'd love to know about it.
