Killer's Kiss (1955)

There's some great visual sequences, you get some of that one point perspective that Kubrick would use the rest of his career, but Kubrick's only original story is average. It's a passable noir, elevated by the visual craft, but there are plenty of better noir flicks.

Dr. Strangelove
Paths of Glory
The Killing

Spartacus
2001: A Space Odyssey
A Clockwork Orange

Full Metal Jacket
The Shining

Eyes Wide Shut

It's been so long since I've seen A Clockwork Orange and 2001, just going off what I can recall thinking of them. I need to rewatch them, along with the ones I haven't seen yet obviously.

Yeah the crease in Tom Cruise's forehead when he gets confused (the exact same thing in the Jack Reacher trailer, that told me to stay away and had me wishing he would fall off that tall building in MI4) or the multi-dimensional comic genius of Sellars. I'm beginning to see your point noff. :P

Hello opposite me! What's it like in bizarro world? :)

In your world were the Star Wars prequels great? Or does their level of suck transcend multiple planes of existence?

Multi-demensional? Bah, gimme multi-faceted.

They were still bad, but in my reality it was Jar Jar Binks who had all the midichlorians, and Jake Loyd dies a fiery death podracing. Shmi was a totally irresponsible mother.
