not that i literally don't like them, they (LS&TSB and S) are fine, but mostly meh, i'm not compelled to follow the guy's work
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

I went with Lock, Stock... but my hand wavered over 'don't like any I have seen' for quite some time.

Lock, Stock is his best film as a writer, but there are a few pointless montages that kill the pace.

Snatch is more self-conscious in the writing, but is really, really well stylized.  The "Pikey's Revenge" finale is good enough to be studied in schools.  From Brad Pitt being knocked underwater, to the use of the Oasis song... and the editing (both visual and aural) is masterful.

I'm in agreement with what seems to be the popular opinion so far: He's not a director that gets me excited about movies, but he's not a bad director per say.

I went with Snatch. I saw it some years ago, but it was some harmless fun. Well, maybe not harmless, but still fun.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.
