Two popular directors who've seen good times and bad.  Right now they're seen as an entertaining diversion and a very mixed bag.  But who do you think will make the better film with their next release?

[For the purposes of this poll, try to ignore that we already know that Tim Burton is doing Alice in Wonderland and Robert Rodriguez is most likely doing Sin City 2.]

Tim Burton and it's not even remotely close.

Pee-Wee's Big Adventure is one of my top 5 favorites. Sure, when he's bad he's really bad but he has many more movie I like a lot than totally failures.

well as burton seems to be back on the upswing after an extended slump i gotta go burton.  a few years ago it would've been RR - but he's more erratic, hit followed by miss followed by whatever the hell Sharkboy and Lava Girl was.

Rodriguez, on the basis of their more recent work.

Burton because I loved The Corpse Bride. Didn't like Sweeny Todd. I'd say he'll do well at Alice

This is really hard because both directors' names on a film make me perk up and want to see it, or at least get very curious about it.  Both have been uneven.  For the sake of the poll I'll go Tim Burton but they are very close to tied in my heart!
