Animal can be an adjective.
in-and-out, eh?

Nope, not that, actually. Is that usage ("animal style") the adjective form anyway?  Someone smart answer this, please.

i think so, it might make more sense if you don't think of it in the phrase "animal style" and just placing the order "animal" - what was your context?

I learned that my new job is better than my old job.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

I want a magic lantern.

I want a Zoetrope.

what were you talking/reading about specifically?

Mostly the invention of the motion picture. Not interesting. The early films were cool to see, though.

Early film history is boring.

Wrong. The person teaching it to you or the book you are reading is boring.
