TED is super. Taught me a lot about crows.
Good Nature of Things about crows last week.

I am more motivated for my job, a minimum wage food service job, than for my school work that will dictate my future life. I wonder how this can be and what it means?

Head over to TED.com and watch a video. Maybe you'll find some answers (and motivation). Good luck!

I love TED!

I have not learned anything about crows watching TED. Unfotunately. I'm falling behind on TED talks. Should pick up the pace.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Sadly, I seem to have missed my chance.

Wifi is working perfectly on my PC, but my iPod touch can't find any networks ANYWHERE. Not school, not home, not work which leads me to believe that it is my iPod's problem, and not my wifi's.

Had my usual run of bloodwork done last week - being diabetic and all it happens several times a year.  Today I found out that my HbA1c - the barometer of diabetic health - was down to from 7.0 to 6.0.

[Under 7.0 is fantastic for diabetics]

So yay for all that "taking care of yourself" hype.....   ;)
My name is John Johnson but everyone here calls me Vicky.

I probably won't be able to teach the lit class I'm currently scheduled to teach in the spring. It's an "Oops, sorry! We've scheduled too many upper level English classes; you're going to have to teach an introductory writing course" sort of thing.

I knew it was too good to be true.  :(
