That people can stop following you on Twitter and they don't let you know who the person is. Congruently, I don't really pay attention to who is following me, so I have no idea who the person is who stopped following me. I find this lack of knowledge interesting, in an oddly uncaring way.

I shall be doing my Junior Field Experience in Trenton Central High School starting on Tuesday. Don't know what time yet. Not sure how to feel about this since my interesting in urban education is minimal, especially since if I teach close to home urban means Camden. The cool part is that if you do JFE in an urban school they try and place you in a suburban school for Student Teaching, and vice versa, so at least the shorter part of my in class time will be in an urban area, I reckon. I just hope they have lot parking because I do not feel comfortable parallel parking anywhere, I suck at it hard.

I just don't want to be in a position where I need to parallel park. That's a deal breaker, in selecting a job, a home, or anything else.

I can see that. Is transit not good in NJ?

Well the whole class goes so I reckon I may be carpooling with someone, especially if we are paired up in classrooms. And since mapquest says the school is only 12 minutes from my house I imagine the easiest way back and forth, what with class schedules and all that, is to drive.

FLY trust me, just suck it up and learn.  Find a parking lot or something that has painted spaces and room to maneuver.

I never learned and I have always sucked at it, but it was part of the requirement for the EVOC part of the the police academy (Emergency Vehicle Operator Class).  We had to learn how to control a spin out or slide and recover control of the car, and drive a course with 2 different parallel parking segments as well as two 360 degree circles and several dead ends you had to go down and then back all the way out.  And do it all in under 2  minutes.  That was hard!  But once I finally learned the parallel parking I felt so empowered.  I can park anywhere, woo hoo!

Just do it.

My frail ego will be shattered if I need to learn with someone else in the car.
