I have a morbid interest in actually trying one of those.

I now eagerly await the shellless taco, the biscuitless egg sammich and the bacon wrapped bacon bacon with bacon bits and bacon.

I don't understand why this is such a big deal. If you had all the pieces next to each other on a plate instead of stacked it wouldn't make news. I don't get it. Why is this so offensive/awesome?

If something is funny sounding/looking enough pop culture (Twitter, Facebook, self-righteous blogs, Colbert...) will have it's way with it for a moment or two. Even if it doesn't have any more calories than most any other fast food sandwich.

I'm surprised more of a big deal was never made about Wendy's Baconator, it has to have a lot of calories and it has the most awesome name ever.

I should write a post about the Baconator in the pet peeves thread. That thing was a huge disappointment. I was expecting to OD on bacon but there are only a few divine strips of pig wonder in that burger. Pfff ... That sandwich does not live up to its name and that's a great name for a burger!

Ps. It doesn't have all that many calories (another disappointment). If you want to choke on calories I recommend Carl's Jr. or In-N-Out.
