People here care more about movies over pressing world events...  :'(

I'm too busy feeding and sheltering the homeless to deal with world events.  There's just another world event tomorrow.

Sorry about my pessimism.  So, about Taxi Driver and 17 Again...?

Hoping movietickets.com isn't completely updated for this weekend yet. If it is, here's what my theater is playing...

The A-Team (yawn)
Get Him to the Greek (Pretty great, but I've seen it already)
The Karate Kid (no, give me Smith's episode of The Suite Life again...and that's not saying much)
Letters to Juliet (Dear John, please!)
Marmaduke (Seriously, Owen Wilson, I hate you)
Shrek Forever After in 3D (Another victory for the JoBros 3D revolution, but I have no interest in this film)
Splice (Adrian Brody pisses me off)

Farewell City Island, farewell Mother and Child, farewell Please Give, farewell pseudo-independence!

Appears City Island is staying (though I actually saw this a while ago, which is weird because I don't remember seeing it too well), and we are getting something called Solitary Man. Guess I'll check that trailer out since it seems like it has Eisenberg in it.

The US DVD release of The Scent of Green Papaya has the wrong aspect ratio (1.33:1 instead of 1.66:1).  >:(

"The Candy Man" was in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. I just thought it was a SDJ song.

Something called Cambio is about to happen on the 15th, but I have no idea what it is.

I got back twice as much of what I was expecting to get from my federal tax refund. Sweet!  ;D

Maggie and Jake Gyllenhaal were guests on an episode of Molto Mario, before they were famous.
