Throw out, refers to where letters were place on numbers on rotary phone. T is on the 8 and O is on the 6.

God, I'm old.

I remember having a rotary phone and a black and white TV. But I think that was cause my parents kept there B&W tv till the mid 70s as it refused to break

I remember using a rotary phone to dial in to a radio station competition. They were giving away 1 album (your choice from the top 40) per minute for an hour. After 35ish minutes of dialling I won Prince's Purple Rain on vinyl (CD was not an option). My fingers hurt afterwards, but it was worth it. I can still remember the way the dial felt as you turned it around, then the watching as it unwound back into position ready for the next number. Such different times.

How to pronounce Ann Dvorak:

Quote from: Wikipedia
Asked how to pronounce her adopted surname, she told The Literary Digest in 1936: "My fake name is properly pronounced vor'shack. The D remains silent. I have had quite a time with the name, having been called practically everything from Balzac to Bickelsrock.

I’m shook.

Just as long as Antonin still pronounces it D’vor-shack*.

*A YouTube video said that is how to pronounce it so I’m sticking with it.

Speaking of which, my last name can be pronounced many ways, so I don’t generally tell people they said it wrong unless it’s just wildly off. I don’t necessarily pronounce it the same as my dad who gave it to me.

They let Timothy Cary write, direct and star in a movie. Do I want to make time for it? I am pretty busy right now.

That's wild. Seems like it could be paired with Buffalo 66... or The Room.
