I remember All About Eve being pretty great back in my middle school years. I hope it holds up.

I'm strangely interested in The Barefoot Contessa for reasons that remain elusive to me.

Ava looks nice... the plot is stupid.

Convenient, I've seen 3 of his films (Eve, Guys, Sleuth) and like them all to varying degrees (obviously Eve the most).

There was waaaay too much plot. There's enough material for about 5 different movies in there...

The Barefoot Contessa is a remarkable buried treasure, and I highly recommend it.  I like it more than All About Eve.
