I'll grant that Red Eye was slick but I liked it nonetheless.  It had better acting than it deserved, it gripped me the entire time and I enjoyed the ride.  It did the job it set out to do very competently.  I would not call it high art but wouldn't call anything by Wes Craven high art.  But if you are looking for a good thriller, Red Eye is one.

I went with Red Eye, Nightmare on Elm Street and a nostalgia/this was on Prism all the time when I was a kid pick(1), Swamp Thing.

(1) Prism was a local premium channel on the Philly area cable system.  We didn't get any of the other movie channels but my Dad subscribed to this one because it showed Phillies and Flyers home games.

I would have voted for Wes Craven's New Nightmare had it made the list.

It's on there, just as New Nightmare.

One more for Scream and Nightmare.

I love seeing Music of the Heart on this list.

Even after you told me, I took me at least 15 seconds of scanning the list to find it.   :-[

I've only seen Red Eye. Didn't care for it much.
