If you want my FS review of Quantum spoiled -- http://www.slashfilm.com/2008/11/18/filmcast-ep-26-quantum-of-solace-guest-adam-kempenaar-from-filmspotting/

Or to listen to Dave and the other guys from the slashfilm. It was fun to be on again.

It was great to hear you on the show Adam. It would have been great if you could have gone on before the review portion and give your opinion about movie news and talk about the films you’ve seen in the week.

Curious whatever happened to the /Filmcast and David Chen relationship with Filmspotting?

He used to be a regular guest along with the regulars like Matt Singer/Whitmore/Tasha Robinson etc before they joined the filmspotting podcast network.  Did anything happen?

Not that I'm aware of! All still friends. Though I can't recall Dave actually ever being on FS except for voicemails and stuff. Not that he hasn't been a name we keep handy.

Dave hosted one of those best of recap episodes. I remember it vividly because that was the first time i heard The Gaslight Anthem.

Yes, he hosted the best of's, and was a recurring regular on voicemail call-ins for a good 2 years running.

I guess just haven't heard his name mentioned in forever, wasn't sure if there was some behind the scenes film critic drama!

Also feel like Steve Prokopy hasn't been on in a while as well.  No complaints here though, the Last Picture Show / SUV crew is great, and I always love the Dana Stevens cameos more prevalent of late.  Chris Klemick was fun as well on the James Bond episode (or was it Marvel?).

I think David Chen got very busy when The Tobolowsky Files took off and then he ended up directing the "Concert Film" The Primary Instinct of Tobolowsky telling his stories live.  That could be streamed on Hulu last time I had access to it.  I only remember Chen doing a Best of show (maybe 100?) way back.  I do wish The Tobolowsky Files would post more episodes but it seems he is busier than ever with TV series and movies in the works which I guess is more important
