The 70s and 80s are awful.

I've always been a little iffy on the 80s (there's stuff I really like and stuff I'm not crazy about), but I'd definitely go to bat for the 70s US.

I'm interested in seeing the Die Hard/Blade Runner/Raiders/Empire Strikes Back final four in the 80s.

That's what I'm talking about. Although that can be an interesting final four, it just seems to me that final fours in the 70s could be way more interesting (The Godfathers, Exorcist, Alien, Apocalypse Now, The Conversation, Chinatown, etc). That's just my opinion. If more people want to do the 80s, then I'll still join along, but I like 70s more.

Oh, I agree, 70s would be awesome. But we gotta go in order, right?

Yeah, otherwise I'm fighting for the 20s.

Yeah, I'm kinda in favor of knocking out the 90s first.

Mix it up.  American films already dominate discussions and lists on this site.  I think more discoveries will be made with a European Bracket.

europe is only one vote back, maybe you need to start tossing some of your clout around  :)
