I just watched Rain Man a few months ago and wrote a review.  What's the bracket etiquette?  Do  rewatch it, or just use my previous feelings?

I'm not an authority on the matter but personally I think that IS a recent enough viewing to base a first round bracket decision on. I know there's been instances where I've watched a movie for a bracket and not got around to writing it up in a verdict until a month or two later. In that time I didn't feel like I had forgotten the essence of the experience or anything that would prevent me from making a fair judgement. Every experience is different though, so that part is really your call. Personally I'd be okay with it.

Just my 2 cents, not a decision.

Yeah, your call, BV. If you feel you remember the movie well enough I don't think you should have to watch it again.

Yeah, you go ahead and write something and we'll tell you if it's good enough :)

I do feel I remember it well it enough.  I will watch The Dead, and if the winner is not clear, I will re-watch Rain Man.

Availability toss-backs:
1. Top Gun versus Let's Get Lost - Emiliana

Since the rules seem to suggest that availability toss-backs are open to be claimed, I would like to claim this one if it is possible. I can get access to both of these.

From what I've read, the recent DVD release of The Dead was a hatchet job, cutting out some parts of the film.
