Since the rules seem to suggest that availability toss-backs are open to be claimed, I would like to claim this one if it is possible. I can get access to both of these.

That's my reading of the rules, too.

I do feel I remember it well it enough.  I will watch The Dead, and if the winner is not clear, I will re-watch Rain Man.

From what I've read, the recent DVD release of The Dead was a hatchet job, cutting out some parts of the film.

Lovely.. Well the DVD is in the mail.  We shall see.

Availability toss-backs:
1. Top Gun versus Let's Get Lost - Emiliana

Cool, I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Let's Get Lost.

And I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Top Gun.  I've never seen it, but it was the topic of conversation a lot a my old job and DI was ribbed to no end for not having seen it.

I downloaded a copy of what I believe is the VHS and I'll get around to watching it to see what the differences actually are.

Ok, finished with my third verdict. I think I'll go back to the great randomizer in the sky for my next pairing (no rush as I probably won't get to it for a month).

Also, not sure if this is a stepping on toes sort of question, but since the results thread for this bracket hasn't been updated for quite some time, would there be interest in my going through the various threads to create an unofficial updated listing of verdicts and pending pairings. I'm a little OCD and this disparity is eating at me. As long as I'm the creator of the post/thread I'd be able to edit it even without mod privs.

I guess I'll start updating this bracket in skjerva's absense, assuming I can figure out what the heck is going on here.

I think I've got all the verdicts and pending matchups updated.

54. Diner versus The Unbelievable Truth - BlueVoid
62. The Dead versus Rain Man - BlueVoid

BlueVoid, you have two pending matchups, from what I can tell.

Huh, I was wondering where that matchup went.

I'll have to toss back Diner vs. The Unbelievable Truth.  I can't get The Unbelievable Truth on DVD.
