1. This is Spinal Tap
2. Blood Simple
3. Stop Making Sense
4. Broadway Danny Rose
5. Amadeus

I recently watched Ghostbusters, which I loved when I was a kid, and I expected to love it still, and I did not. Weird, eh?

Saying this probably makes me the odd man out, but for some reason there are not a lot of films I really love this year.
In a strange turn of events, I voted for This is Spinal Tap.

Have you seen Amadeus?

I have not.

Dang, I didn't even see Nausicaa, I passed right over it while skimming the list. Even then, I wouldn't put it ahead of The Terminator.

Amadeus is a fine film, but I never wrapped my arms around it like many people have.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Nausicaa, so very very good, with Paris, Texas at a ridiculously close second.

It was hidden under that Japanese title.
