*double take* Pappa ante Portas??? Has anyone outside of Germany seen this? It is hilarious, but I can't imagine it translating at all.
Loriot's the man.
Going with Double vie.

Going down the list, I clicked T2 first and nothing came close to tempting me to clicking again.

When I was a kid, I wore out my VHS copy of T2.  I watched it everyday before school for a year.  It was awesome.

I can't believe you woke up that early.

Double Life of Veronique or A Brighter Summer Day or Les Amants du Pont-Neuf or... Boyz n da Hood

I'll be voting for whatever has a chance.

Arguably one of my favorite years for film, and it's not because of T2 (which I kind of like, but...)

I went with Les Amants du Pont Neuf, which killed me because it meant I couldn't vote for Jungle Fever.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Out of that list, these are my fave (of the ones I've seen, of course):

5. JFK - It's funny, cuz, when I first viewed this flick, all those years anon, it almost made me believe that there was a conspiracy.
Almost.
However, as the years go on & I have come to be more knowledgeable about this particular event in history, Stone's creative liberties & licensing seems to become more glaring & blaring.
But as a "fictional" political-drama that seems to build & build up to an accumulative effect, it still works for me.

4. Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalyspe - With events like rented military helicopters being called off during a scene of Apocalypse Now, so they can go engage in an actual combat for an actual war that was going on at the time & then Martin Sheen having a heart attack between shooting scenes, all happening during the filming of this movie, the true story of how this movie was made is almost as surreal & engaging as  the actual movie itself.

3. Fried Green Tomatos - I like mine with a touch of salt & a dash of tabasco sauce.

2. Silence of the Lambs - When it comes to silent lambs, I like mine with a touch of salt & a dash of tabasco sauce. No fava beans or chianti. That goes with something else.

1. Terminator 2: Judgment Day - One of those rare exceptions when a sequel is better than the original.
James Cameron, you are a god.
However, I've got a question: What is it that inspired the future sentient computer-technology that takes over the Earth, to put out a line of mean-looking humanoid hunter-killer robots, only to program the entire series with an English language that is weighed down with a heavy-@ss Austrian accent?

Mannn....
I wish I was made outta liquid metal.

T2, and it's not even close.

The answer to every what's-the-best question ever.

Best action? T2, and it's not even close.
Best chase scene? T2, and it's not even close.
Goes best with spaghetti? T2, and it's not even close.

See what I mean  8)

T2 followed by Silence of the Lambs then a near tie and I'm not sure which I'd put ahead between Fried Green Tomatoes and Point Break.  God, I LOVE Point Break!

I agree Point Break is woefully underrated. It is one of the best action movies ever made.
