185 titles, and I only liked 61 of them. I hope I don't think about that when I look back on how I spent my life.

          4 Stars
1.   Schindler’s List
2.   The Nightmare Before Christmas
3.   The Wrong Trousers (SHORT)

          3 ½ Stars
4.   The Remains of the Day
5.   True Romance
6.   Short Cuts

          3 Stars
7.   The Firm
8.   Falling Down
9.   Barbarians at the Gate
10.   Groundhog Day
11.   Indian Summer
12.   Much Ado About Nothing
13.   Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
14.   The Baby of Macon
15.   And the Band Played On
16.   Cannibal: The Musical

Not even Top 50. Scorsese was more interested in the decorations than the people. If that's the kind of film he wanted to make, he should've ditched the characters altogether and made a non-narrative film closer to Baraka. I also didn't like the contrast of an elegant costume drama and his jittery visual style, but that could change if I ever cared to watch the film again.

Yeah, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I think the film probably has the greatest characters in any Scorsese film, ever.

Out of 69 films. Top shame is In The Hands of a Puppet Master, which is apparently a film that exists. Cliffhanger is the most mainstream film I haven't seen.

1.   Jurassic Park
2.   Demolition Man
3.   Naked
4.   Philadelphia
5.   The Remains of the Day
6.   The Baby of Macon
7.   Schindler’s List
8.   The Ballad of Little Jo
9.   Much Ado About Nothing
10.   Tombstone
11.   Falling Down
12.   Robin Hood Men In Tights
13.   Groundhog Day
14.   Hot Shots Part Deux

It's also known as The Puppetmaster, and I'm starting to doubt it too. It's currently my Top Shame, but considering I've never heard of it and it's directed by Hsiao-Hsien Hou I clearly need to reconsider my List of Shame since I see nothing to be Shameful about.

Following along, it's too bad you don't have Tototro around, so while you go through the years he can tell you how wrong you are.  :D

Well, to slightly satisfy Totoro, I probably haven't seen The Age of Innocence so that can explain its absence (in addition to the fact that the bits I think I saw at one point were not interesting to me). Kind of what I hinted at in my Thelma and Louise review, my top shames on iCM at this point are things I feel no shame about, but then I see other things (some I call myself out about in these posts) that aren't on a lot of lists but thematically are things I should have seen.

I've seen it and you should feel no shame. :)

If you want puppetry, To Live is a better "shame" to rectify.

1. The Scent of Green Papaya
2. Three Colors: Blue
3. Wallace & Gromit in The Wrong Trousers
4. Naked
5. Sonatine

Honorable: Farewell My Concubine, The Remains of the Day, The Piano, Madadayo

Here I'd just swap Sonatine with Farewell My Concubine.  Add Philadelphia, The Blue Kite and The Fugitive to HM.

Biggest shame: Thirty Two Short Films About Glenn Gould
Most popular I haven't seen: Carlito's Way

Puppetmaster is available, but the DVD is cropped... so there's basically no point in watching it.
