Before Sunset in a toss-up over Duck SeasonNobody Knows is right up there, too.

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.

What a great year!

Hard to choose a number one, but I guess I'm going with Shaun, which just edges out Eternal Sunshine, and then The Incredibles and Life Aquatic.

i went with Before Sunset, but Breillat's Anatomy of Hell is right there.

if anyone chooses the morally bankrupt Garden State or Million Dollar Baby, i'll contact my people working in the internet tubes to redirect the connection from your home to filmspotting.  hopefully there is nobody here that might be at risk

Gotta join the runaway and go with Eternal Sunshine. Though I was really close to voting for Million Dollar Baby just to annoy skjerva.

(In all seriousness, Million Dollar Baby would probably be my #3 pick for this 2004)

Going with Shaun, but Closer, Eternal Sunshine, I Heart Huckabee's, 2046, and Garden State were close. Good year.

I went with Ray.

Closer, House Of Flying Daggers, The Merchant Of Venice, Vera Drake, Shaun, and Sideways could all be substituted probably.  :-\
