Lavatory - Lovestory, another of the animated short nominations. The others (aside from Presto, obviously), don't seem to be available online.

And one from the live action category, New Boy. (US & Canada only, unfortunately).

Heres two brilliant ones by Tomek Baginski. He's a Polish artist. The first one was Oscar nominated. The second one should have been as it is pure genius. Both are about 5mins long.

Youtube doesn't really do justice to the animation though.

Also if you liked In Bruges you should look for "Six Shooter". It was Martin McDonagh's short film that won him an Oscar. Stars Brendan Gleeson and is well worth a look if you can find it.

Fallen Art is brilliantly morbid. I had never seen the other one though, incredible visuals, thanks.

How can i transfer a dvd onto the boards, cause then I could upload my student video.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Terminus by Trevor Cawood - Really stange, surreal thing. I'm sure it's rife with metaphorical juiciness, I just like how pillar-man dances.

The 2009 Annie Award-winning short film. Nice stuff (though I still prefer Presto).
Wanting for Thor what Thor wants for Thor.

This post is inspired by NedMeier's recent viewing of Gopher Broke. Blur Studio, the company who made it, does simply spectacular work, so I've collected some of their short films here for your viewing pleasure.
