1990s Bracket: Call for 4th Round Participants
« on: February 11, 2009, 05:25:27 PM »
This is for everyone, whether you're new to the forums or have already completed a dozen bracket matchups.

If you want a fourth round matchup in this bracket (details of what that's all about in the FAQ), send me a private message by next Monday, Febuary 16, with an estimate of how long you think you'll need to complete a matchup (two days, one week, two weeks, a month, whatever).  If you might want a second matchup, give me a second target date (or, really, a second bid) for that one as well.

Each fourth round matchup is going to be assigned to three different people, so I'm going to try to match up people who expect to finish their matchups around the same time.  I'm going to try to move these last few rounds along a little quicker, too.

Also, if you've never done so, please send me a message to let me know which films you're interested in seeing.  The best way, for me, is for you to take the list below and separate into two groups:  what you've already seen and what you haven't seen.  Then you can rank the films in each group according to your level of interest in seeing/revisiting them.

American History X
Boogie Nights
Dark City
Dazed and Confused
Dead Man Walking
Election
Eyes Wide Shut
Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai
Glengarry Glen Ross
Goodfellas
Hoop Dreams
JFK
Kids
L.A. Confidential
L.A. Story
The Limey
Lost Highway
Magnolia
My Own Private Idaho
Out of Sight
Paris Is Burning
Reservoir Dogs
Rushmore
Schindler's List
Schizopolis
The Shawshank Redemption
The Thin Red Line
Three Kings
True Romance
The Virgin Suicides
Waiting for Guffman

This is totally optional, by the way.  If you just want a random assignment, that's fine.  But if not, this helps me assign you films you'll be excited to see.
