Hello there, and yes, glad to be of service.
some of my favorite directors are p.t. anderson, stanley kubrick, todd solondz, wong kar wai, michel gondry, wes anderson, coen brothers.

I think I've first tuned into Filmspotting about two months ago, when I just began my job and needed some podcasts to listen to while working.  The defining reason I immediately stuck to Filmspotting is because I just saw The Darjeeling Limited at the time with my sister (who liked it), and had to explain to her why I was really disappointed.  I saw all the ads on t.v with the critics raving about it and didn't get what people were thinking.  The first filmspotting show I heard was their review of it and it was almost the exact same criticisms I relayed to my sister.  I've been a filmspotter ever since, and I'm almost caught up on the archives.

and I only like cheese when its melted. why? you got some?

welcome!  as part of your getting-to-know-me process, i also used to only like cheese when melted.

You said, "KY."
Probably a Freudian slip on his/her part.  I've never used KY myself, Seth Rogan explains pretty well in Superbad why.
Although the 4 inch thing isn't half true.
Nice to meet you all, and lets forget I brought up the 4 inch thing.

awww.... but that was a good sign that you had the sense of humor to deal with the hooligans around here
Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist.  Throw some ground balls.  More democratic.

Lady, I believe you just brought up my 4 inch thing.

(that was a setup, you didn't go for it so I had to.  I had no other options, please forgive me)

Seems like you will fit in (no pun intended, well maybe) just fine around here.
