Moon

Compared to something like Sunshine, I found Moon a little lackluster. What inspired you?

I loved the visual style of moon. Then again, I loved everything about Moon, and the visual style in Sunshine is probably much better, but Moon does have a great visual style.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Makes sense. I guess it does have its own style.

District 9

Flawless.  There's already been some good nominees this year, but these are the most photorealistic creations ever committed to screen.  Avatar has its work cut out for it.

I believe my ballot is complete for this category.  Fine work by all involved.

1) AVATAR
2) DISTRICT 9
3) HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE
4) WATCHMEN
5) THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS

Most pointless category this year. It's a mortal lock for Avatar.
