I’m guessing the 108-minute Weinstein Brothers release of The Grandmaster on Netflix is not the version of the film I should watch, right?

edit: I’ll guess I’ll just bite the bullet and watch, but it feels gross, especially after reading interviews with Wong celebrating working with Harvey.

I think that’s probably the right choice. I just finished the US version, and it felt like watching the theatrical cut of Blade Runner. That’s not to say that the European or Chinese version will be as good as Blade Runner’s final cut — merely better than the US cut.
