They should add a new section to the Google language translator.
Let's just say I'm not a big fan of spammers.

Whoops.  Got a little too crazy and Kilroy got caught in the fray.  Please repost in the other thread, Kilroy.

I'm trying to limit the other thread to one post per entrant to make it easier on myself when the time comes to judge.

We should launch a spin-off podcast: Filmspottingforumcast

I had a similar thought a while back. Kind of like the Listener Feedback Takes Over podcast. :)  Could be a nice companion piece.

The crag-ometer? Nice bit of work, there.

I was going to do a Steve Martin one, till I realised he's looked exactly the same since 1867.

Quite true.  I thought that, since I half-jokingly suggested our forum status be ranked by the Duvall Quotient (his character's status in various films) I'd illustrate the same. I don't expect either the avatar or the forum titles to stick, but poor Duvall. He made Sam's 6-10 on the actors' list back in 2005, but I think he didn't even get a mention on the Cinecast 100 list extravaganza.

But, wouldn't it be fun to refer to message board neophytes as "Boo Radleys"?

Question -- Does anyone know the maximum size of avatar that phpBB will handle.  Is it 100 X 100?  And if you link to one offsite is there a size maximum?

Just want to know how far I can push this...

It should show you under the Profile link, above the board index:

<<Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB.>>

1. Do you mean UltimateOnlinePharmaceuticals is not really a member. We were so close, turns out he just wanted to sell me drugs from Canada.

2. The avatar size restriction has put a kink in my plans.  I had one ready,   but you couldn't read it.  I guess it is back to the trenches.

3. I don't really have a question about avatars.
