This is one of those adorable kitty+silly phrase thingies that are around the net. This is one of my favorites. I think the caption speaks for itself...

Junior, I hate to be the one to break it to you but it's totally confusing when you post a description of the avatar in one message and show the previous graphic in the same one.  To see the actual avatar you're describing you have to skip ahead and check out some later message. Too disjointed.  Keep them together.

New day, new avatar.  This one's an artist book/lithograph print that is my second entry into this weekend's art contest.  I call it Star Chart.  It took me over a month to make -- one side of the paper is a four colour print of nebulous imagery overlaid with the mythological constellation symbols of the sky I was born under, and the other side shows the knitting chart I made up to represent that sky.  All printed off a piece of stone so large and heavy that I couldn't move it on my own at all.

Here's the full picture:

All my avatars are photos I've taken myself so it may be tough to come up with that many photos, but I'll give it a shot.

that looks an aweful lot like a street in the french quarter
Strikeouts are boring - besides that, they're fascist.  Throw some ground balls.  More democratic.

Good eyes Lise; that would be pirates alley in New Orleans.  I have a feeling you'll be seeing more photos of New Orleans in the future.  My photo collection is New Orleans heavy.

Might I just say that I'm impressed that people are getting into 'Avatar Month'.  We have an exceptionally creative and well rounded group of users here on the boards.
