A continuation of the bridge theme from earlier this month, this is also one of the reasons I was always scared of civil engineering. A simple mistake can be disastrous. For those who don't know this is the tacoma narrows bridge (galloping gertie) right before it collapsed in 1940.

The TNB has haunted my physics life since 4 years ago. From when my teacher introduced us to her until now, it has been mentioned at least once in every single science class. CINECAST YOU TACOMA NARROWS BRIDGE! It's a love-hate relationship.

Sounds like the Hyatt Regency Walkway Collapse in Kansas City.  I've heard about it more times than I should.  It's the go-to disaster story they give to architects to scare them into being more attentive to details.

This is a place I have been trying to capture for a while now. This is the best pic I have taken of it so far. Maybe a better one will appear later...

Here, the wild scrubber specimen "Kellee" frolicks amongst the lolly bags.  Kellee is never one to be far from an alcoholic beverage, and this case is no different.  To her left, you'll see the offending glass of G&T.

Unfortunately, I stole it off the interwebs. I forget where, it was a while ago.
