Mine seems to have grown . . .

That can be grossly misinterpreted.

I'm just going to pretend you're talking about your hair.
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

I switched back. I missed Mononoke.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

As you would have read in the Announcements thread, I have taken the restrictions off the avatar sizes. It seemed to be causing issues because of the resizing.

But can I ask you all to try to keep avatars down to a reasonable size - both in download and width/height.

Clovis8 - yours is 4.5MBs to download. That's pretty big for people with slow connections.  I myself had an animated gif at one stage so I'm not against them generally but over about a meg for an avatar is a little too much.

Gman1050 - I love your avatar but could you resize it down just a bit from 270px wide to 200px maybe.

I'm not picking on you two, you just happen to be on this page when I'm posting so you're within reach.  I really like both your avatars, just trying to keep things loading quickly for everyone.

Thanks   ;)

Thanks for the heads up Lynch. I think mine is about 163 (width) x 240 (height). About 8.5 Kb. I'll make sure to stay in that ballpark range whenever I change.

I don't think so. It's the worst pic of all 6 actors in the collection.
