I don't get it. I tried updating the pic but the forum doesn't seem to be recognising its address. Then I tried to go back to the original but that Imgur link also doesn't appear to work anymore.

At the end of each year, I have to ask smirnoff to help me. I try and make sense of it, but can never seem to figure out the avatar addresses. If he were my neighbor, he'd be getting a plate of chocolate chip cookies every New Years!

Specify avatar by URL should be the checked setting, then put in the URL where your photo is stored.

Have you done that?

You're linking to external storage. The Specify Avatar by URL is in Profile Settings.

So it turns out, Imgur was giving me an https address but the forum would not recognise it unless I took the s out.

I chose to go with 1SO's suggestion. Couldn't find anything better.

Now, every time I look at one of your posts, I wince.  I hope you feel better.

True Grit certainly ain't your grandpappy's western. No western I ever saw had shots like this.

Course, no western had Deakins and Coen Bros working on it either. :)

I'm going to be a little melancholy when your picture shows up on the threads, but I love your choice.
