Sliding Doors

I just watched Sliding Doors this afternoon and was pleasantly surprised.  Its cute, if not a little predictable.  This is the first Gwyneth Paltrow film I've liked in some time.  I think that John Hannah's charming performance really sells the film.  This movie should have made him a more viable leading man, alas he is still relegated to side kick material, while those roles suit him, I really think Sliding Doors shows he is capable of much more.

Three cheers for Hannah, and two for a solid movie, Sliding Doors.

It's perfectly a perfectly enjoyable, frothy rom-com. It sets out to do somethings and acheives those aims. Not sure about overlooked, but if it's on tv, I usually see it through to the end, or have it on as an 'ambient film'.

I remember seeing this when it first came out at the theater.  I remember enjoying it a lot.  I think Gwyneth had only a few pictures under her belt at this time.  I fell in love with Gwyneth when I saw Emma, so I saw this one.  I remember liking it more than I thought I would.
