... Constantine ... ?

There's quite a few people I know who love it, particularly it's dark fantasy take on the world. I've never seen it, but over the years I think it's picked up a good number of boosters to oppose the numerous detractors when the film first came out.

I like it a lot. Tilda Swinton is awesome and Peter Stormare is freaking perfect.

This and this :)

It's just totally different and wild. And it looks fantastic! Lots of fun.

And yeah, Open Range will make the list :)

Jesus, The Never Ending Story is on that list.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

;D

I'm a sucker for wildly imaginative films like that. Labyrinth and Hitchhiker's Guide would fall in that category too, for me. :)

i keep hearing good things about this one, need to check it.  i had wondered if this one should be eligible for the 80s bracket
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

I would have nominated it, but for some reason I thought it was already on the list.  :o

Either way, I think you'd find it interesting at the very least. Just looking at it from a director's perspective, the same man responsible for the claustrophobic thriller Das Boot was the director of The NeverEnding Story.

Likewise. Hmm, maybe it doesn't qualify as an American production anyways.

Making this list is going to be like S&M; painful but potentially fun :D
