Immediately after making mine, I realized I forgot The Apartment and The Shining, and Flickchart today reminded me that I missed American Splendor.

Don't you guys rate movies on IMDB? That way, when making such lists, you don't have to rely on memory.

But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.

Yeah it makes life alot easier, especially sorting movies by the rating you gave it.

No, I don't use IMDB or any other system. I have a terrible memory too, so I pretty much make my lists in an arbitrary manner.

I like Criticker because it lets you rate on a 100 pt. scale so if I was so inclined I could work in really fine grades (but I choose to go by multiples of 5 to keep a little sanity).  So for compiling my top 100 I'm basically looking at everything I gave a 90-100 (something like 150ish titles) along with revisiting a few that I may have underrated because I haven't seen them in years.

This looks like it's going to be a lot harder than just consulting my IMDB ratings...

This site seems rather inefficient. You'd want to keep it updated regularly if you're going to use it - going from stratch would be a very laborious process.
