Here is my tentative list

18.   Badlands 98

Typo... or hitherto unheralded remake 25 years later?

Oops...I had some scores written on my list and didn't erase that one.

98 is a very high score... and yet only #18? I'm guessing you have a few that are worth a perfect 100?

Why would you want that? It means they won't get on the list. . .

Its not a goal, more of a bet with myself.  I am not gonna pad the list or nothing, just see if I end up with some unique things.  Like Peppermint Candy is going to be in my top ten but I doubt more than three or four people saw it.

I would be among those three or four. I need some extra convincing that it's among the best 100 movies I've ever seen however.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

When exactly is this happening?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

My scores are based on the quality of the films and my personal affection for them. I am a pretty easy grader (I give almost all of my kids A's on their report cards). Only two films got a 100 (Seventh Seal and Seven Samurai).

How many films by each of these directors - Truffaut, Godard, Rohmer, Chabrol, Rivette, Marker, Resnais, Varda - are very likely to make your final lists?

Trying to weigh the emphasis you should put on them for your list?

No, I'm curious where these directors stand with Filmspotters because I sort of can't wait for the final list to be posted.  Also, can't wait to see people's entire lists if there's been talk about that happening.

400 Blows, Sans Soleil, La Jetee. I haven't seen anything by others that would make my list.
