All these Frenchies and no mention of the Gallic director who will have the most films on my top 100: Bresson.

The original question seems pretty New Wave and New Wave-related specific.  I don't think you can fit Bresson in there.

He'll have a few in my Top 100 as well, though.

Yeah, I limited it to who are usually grouped as the French New Wave and Left Bank (Demy slipped my mind, Moullet left off intentionally) generation.  Renoir, Tati, Vigo, Bresson, Clouzot, Carne, Melville, and Feuillade are some older French/non-NW/non-LB directors whose films will make my Top 100.

Meville will have 3 on my list.

I really need to start thinking about this. In fact, I'll try to do this within the next couple hours. I might post a list later on.

Also, how are people posting that neat little tableau with the movie posters?
-Le Chiffre: You changed your shirt, Mr Bond. I hope our little game isn't causing you to perspire.

-James Bond: A little. But I won't consider myself to be in trouble until I start weeping blood.

Yeah.  I don't remember who started it...but it's a really cool idea.  Much nicer to look at that way than just a list of text.

So...yeah...I did it the hard way...copy and pasting off the internet into a powerpoint, then screenshotting the powerpoint into a jpg.  There probably is an easier way!  :)

Are short films eligible?

I want to make sweet love to your list ferris. It's awesome (mostly).

And now I'm wondering how I left off Blair Witch Project from my list! I'll find room for it somewhere.

35. Casino Royale (2006, Martin Campbell)

I'm surprised to see this one as high as it is. No Goldeneye  :'(

A fine list though overall.  :)

I have 4 Bonds in my top 100, any more and it would look like I was making some plug ins. Goldeneye's score is a stinker too.
