Anything listed as tv-series, mini series, etc on imdb won't qualify.  So that rules of P&P, Les Mis, Dekalog, Band of Brothers, etc.  TV movies however qualify.

I know imdb is rather arbitrary, but it's the easiest way to seperate film, mini series or made for tv so if you are unsure, please check it's status on imdb.

Bumped for sam.  A Short Film About Love and A Short Film About Killing are eligble though (and already have votes, I think).

Pretty sure nothing I watched today will be anywhere near my list. Very frustrating.

And what about Ivan the Terrible? (Although, both parts were made in different decades so I guess they probably should be broken up.)

They weren't made in different decades, they were made within two years of each other.  Part 2 didn't get released anywhere for a long time because Stalin thought it was about him (which it was).  Eisenstein had been dead for 10 years when it finally was shown (he died after making it, which is another reason why there's no Part 3).

returning to the boards slowly, so this might be noted elsewhere...what did you watch?
But I wish the public could, in the midst of its pleasures, see how blatantly it is being spoon-fed, and ask for slightly better dreams.
