Yea, I realized there was a lot on the table already and that's kind of why I didn't say anything at the time.

You should bring it up and call dibbs/hold your idea in line.  Someone might propose something and people might get behind that pushing your idea further down in priority.

Where is the dibbs thread?

Wait...I was the only person to vote for American Psycho?

24 - of my list got on the big list.
48 - of the big list I've seen  :-\
Lots- that I was the only person that voted for them.

I had 32 films on the big list that were also on my own.
I still haven't seen 24 films on the list.

I found it interesting that I was quoted for Adam's Rib, yet it wasn't on my list.  Of course, I saw the full film only after I turned in my top 100, but I still don't know that it would have made it.  However, it's growing in my thoughts...

And, yeah, where IS Groundhog Day?  And why wasn't it on my list?  Oh, well, there's always next year.

Strangelove is a great comedy no? (GHD & FBDO were both on the list I submitted)

I wasn't quoted for anything?  Man.

I liked the list a lot, had a few "Well CINECAST!'s", but that's to be expected.

And shocked that two of my Top 5 had a lot of support, 7 and 9 votes, and didn't crack the Top 100 (Harold and Maude, Shadow of a Doubt).

Movies I was the only vote for:
A.I. (surprised at this, thought it had a bit of love here... wait, I wasn't the only vote, it was listed twice)
Bullets Over Broadway (one of Woody's best, in spite of John Cusack)
Diva (not surprised)
Fury (see above)
Ghost Dog (this was a Top 8 Film of the 90s, yet it wasn't good enough for the lot of your ballots?  BAH.)
Hopscotch (not surprised, although it still didn't deserve to get beaten by CINECAST!ing Dirty Dancing in the 80s bracket)
Love in the Afternoon (so, so charming)
Requiem for a Heavyweight (if I compete in the Best Performances (still feel it's too broad fwiw), Anthony Quinn here will get a lot of support)
Scarface (I know this film is very divisive but I'm surprised I'm the only Top 100 vote)
Shakespeare in Love (surprising)
State of the Union (with a MDC or two, I will fix this for next year)
The Full Monty (BAH.)
The Last Picture Show (see State of the Union)
The People vs. Larry Flynt (...)

I wasn't quoted for anything?  Man.

Well, I was only quoted for a movie I didn't think was that great.  ;)

Well, here's how my list fared. 18 of the films made the top 100 and I'm very pleased with that.

1. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991) (#42 / 12 votes) (I'm so so happy to have T2 make the cut. I really do feel it's something special. Considering it's age and genre, to go from who knows where to #42 really made my night!)
-----------------
2. Never Cry Wolf (1983)
3. Fog of War, The (2003)

4. Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The (2001) (#85 / 7 votes) (Interesting, it got the same number of votes as ROTK but placed 60 spots higher. Nobody put ROTK in their 2nd tier, whereas 3 people did with FOTR. "Let's hunt some orc")
5. Princess Mononoke (1997) (#43 / 12 votes) (It warms my heart to see Mononoke climb 21 places in the ranks)
-----------------
6. Braveheart (1995)
7. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (1983)
8. Amadeus - (1984)
9. Matrix, The (1999)
10. Forrest Gump (1994)
(To see not one of these 5 films in the Top 100 is simply astonishing to me. Amadeus managed to place #102 though, which is impressive considering it had a mere 6 votes)
-----------------
11. Endless Summer 2, The (1994)
12. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, The (2002)

13. Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) (#45 / 10 votes) (Worth noting I think is that Ep. IV averages 10.8 points per votes whereas both Ep. V & VI average 8.5ish)
14. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
15. Once Upon A Time In The West (1968) (#20 / 17 votes)
16. Shawshank Redemption, The (1994) (#66 / 13 votes)
17. Big Lebowski, The (1998) (#13 / 18 votes)
18. Spirited Away (2001) (#64 / 9 votes)
19. Rounders (1998)
20. Joy Luck Club, The (1993)

-----------------
21. Insider, The (1999)
22. Casino (1995)
23. Barry Lyndon (1975)
24. Closer (2004)
25. Sting, The (1973)
26. Vanilla Sky (2001)
27. Ray (2004)
28. Heat (1995)
29. JFK - Director's Cut (1991)
30. Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (1984)

-----------------
31. Touching the Void (2003)
32. V for Vendetta (2005)
33. Into the Wild (2007)
34. Sideways (2004)
35. True Lies (1994)
36. Fly, The (1986)
37. Matchstick Men (2003)
38. For a Few Dollars More (1965)
39. Sense and Sensibility (1995)
(Ouch * 20. Really? None of these made it? I'm saddened)
40. Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) (#21 / 19 votes)
-----------------
41. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, The (2003)
42. 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) (#6 / 22 votes)
43. Anything Else (2003)
44. Vera Drake (2004)
45. Open Range (2003)
46. Rain Man (1988)

55. Pi (1998)
56. Alone in the Wilderness (2004)
57. Demolition Man (1993)
58. Merchant of Venice, The (2004)

59. No Country for Old Men (2007) (#35 / 18 votes) (Props to No Country for surviving the year... can't say I'm happy about TWBB though  :-\)
60. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
-----------------
61. Revolutionary Road (2008)
62. My Blueberry Nights (2007)
63. Narc (2002)
64. Spartan (2004)

65. 12 Angry Men (1957) (#26 / 18 votes)
66. Criminal (2004)
67. Perfect Blue (1998)
(No Kon on the list is unfortunate. Even if you totaled the points from Paprika, Millennium Actress, Perfect Blue and Tokyo Godfathers you'd only have 64 points and 9 votes, which you put you in the 110-120 range :( I hope that just means more people need to see some Kon))
68. Unforgiven (1992)
69. Requiem for a Dream (2000) (#77 / 9 votes)
70. Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
71. Another Woman (1988)
