Very very sad :( to not see The Untouchables make the list.   Have people not seen this film and heard this music?

Ennio Morricone scores were otherwise featured prominently so I guess I can't be too sad

I'm suprised to see Good, bad, and ugly at #1. I like the score, but it's not even my fav Ennio Morricone score(Once Upon... is magnificent)
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

This was a fantastic idea.  Looks like it was a lot of fun.  Wish I had been around for it.

5. Requiem for a Dream (Clint Mansell, 2000)

My friend's Pandora station has been playing this a lot lately and, yeah, nice job, voters.

I totally forgot about Dead Presidents when we were doing this thing :( God it's a good soundtrack.

Dead presidents theme-Danny Elfman

Get up and Get down-The dramatics

Tired of being alone-Al green

Never, Never gonna give you up-Barry White

I don't know how you could listen to those four tracks and NOT want to see the film.

Anybody interested in doing this again, I don't know when we would fit it in with all the other lists, but it has been about 2 1/2 years ago that we did the Top Scores and Soundtracks, could be fun to do it again.

here are the links for the original Top Scores and Top Soundtrack lists

I was listening to Gabriel's Oboe, and it made me think that we should do this list again, because The Mission should be higher than #15

I would love to participate in this, but this might be an even more challening list to put together than a typical Top 100 Films/Performances. I'm game.

My only concern would be if there are any helpful sites, organizations, or lists (other than those from the forum) that would be helpful specifically in terms of films that might use orchestrated music but are in fact classical or otherwise compositions that were just used in and not created for the film (i.e. The Tree of Life, Shutter Island)?
