Awesome, smirnoff! I've been meaning to do this too. Especially glad to hear your review for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Sidenote: I'm curious to see if the animated films on the general Top 100 all come the top of the Animated Top 100 list.

Indeed. Looking at the top ten I imagine Spirited Away, Mononoke, Toy Story and Wall-E will make the list as they did last year. But as for the #1 animated film (GOTF), I have my doubts. I don't feel like I've seen it on too many lists. And I don't think any of the others stand a chance, but I could be wrong.

10. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
9. Finding Nemo (2003)
8. Toy Story (1995)
7. Tonari No Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro, 1988)
6. South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999)
5. Mononoke-hime (Princess Mononoke, 1997)
4. The Iron Giant (1999)
3. Sen To Chihiro No Kamikakushi (Spirited Away, 2001)
2. WALL·E (2008)
1. Hotaru No Haka (Grave Of The Fireflies, 1988)

7. Tonari No Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro, 1988)
5. Mononoke-hime (Princess Mononoke, 1997)
4. The Iron Giant (1999)

Somehow I have seen 7/10 of those, just not these three. I didnt think I watched animation.

I hate to have been so hard on it. My reaction was more of a "it's me not the film" type thing, so I hope it won't stop people from giving it a shot. Aside from my blurb, you'd be hard pressed to find a negative review.

It's a film whose historical importance I'd much rather read about than actually endure, sort of like small pox.
LOL, brilliant.
