Project Runway: Season 6 (Now Straighty-er!)
« on: July 09, 2009, 01:47:00 PM »
I found out this week that I actually know one of the contestants that will be on this season. I'm really, really excited for her, and hope she does well. I was really ambivalent about following the show over to Lifetime until I received this information.

Watched the premiere last night with one of the show's contestants, Louise Black. Unfortunately or fortunately, she was one of the ten "safe" contestants in the final runway, which means they pretty-much ignored her throughout the episode. Oh well. It was still awesome to watch with her; she's very, very sweet.

Either Lifetime or the Weinsteins seem to be purposefully diluting the brand. There are two other shows on with the Project Runway label attached - Models of Runway, about just that, and Project Runway All-Stars, which I'm actually interested in.

That's cool that you know someone who is on the show alex.  I watched the first episode, it was pretty underwhelming.

The long gap in between seasons allowed me to totally cut the cord.  The last couple seasons were mostly boring.

Is this the season where they designed clothes for the Sheepdogs?
