And The Legend is...
« on: July 13, 2009, 11:27:35 AM »
I know there's no way to avoid a very long list of write ins.  It'll probably start with James Dean, Fred Astaire, Gary Cooper and Spencer Tracy.  The stretch back to Chaplin, Keaton and The Marx Bros.  Then move forward to Rod Stieger and Jack Nicholson.  Then there will be the list of women I should have added.  (I love Ingrid Bergman, Ava Gardner, Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn as much as anyone.)
...and how could I forget Brando?

I get it.

But of the choices above, who is the one with the performances you love to watch and movies you want to own?

Henry Fonda for me. Not sure if this is just because he has been in more of my favorite movies.

Bogart for me probably. In terms of wanting to own and rewatch.

John Wayne is an icon across the world.

A Russian substitute teacher from my old high school loved to show us John Wayne films instead of assigning our homework.

Why isn't pix an option?

I voted for Fonda because while I haven't seen most of the other actor's work, I still think he's the only one who can act.
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

I would have picked Audrey Hepburn but chose Katherine in her stead.
