Yeah, it's so great! It was one of my personal discoveries of this past year. I'd just picked it up off the library shelf not knowing anything about it - it was before the Angry Young Men marathon. Such a fantastic experience going in with no expectations and then loving it so much.

If you haven't seen Zero For Conduct yet, try to track it down.  I really like British film in that decade.  If... is great, but the Anderson that's making my list is This Sporting Life.  The former was under heavy consideration as was Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.

Cool.  And I'll just say that my favorite British film of the 60s is Billy Liar.
