Your top 100 really should be your favourites. 'Best' movie lists are far less interesting.

For the most part, mine is, but some movies are soooo great that sometimes I find them sneaking in...

"Best" lists ARE interesting.  Just pretentious....

I don't see how it's just the ability to recognize that while Apocalypse Now is a better film, BttF is the most I enjoy watching most.

Moderators. Please. Pretty please. Can I get my top 100 linked at the front bit of the thread?

I'll do anything.  :-*

Hey!

p.s. Clovis/moderators, can you please update the first page to include my top 100, and name change? Thanks.

Do you want kissy smilys? Is that what this is?
I actually consider a lot of movies to be life-changing! I take them to my heart and they melt into my personality.

Done. And kisses aren't necessary, but they do help.

Because if you put a list saying, "I like these best" there can be nothing to quibble about.

But if you make a list saying, "These are the best films by any standard", then you're putting your standard above everyone else's.

Which I don't usually have a problem doing.  After all, I'm a pastor. ;)

Thankyou, oh glorious moderator.  :-*

I think I can speak for both myself and Satline when I say, you are both very welcome.

Were you able to update the front with all the new lists, or just the requested ones?

I think I'd love how awkward it'd be, or how awkward it should be.
