question (actually 2): how many times have you seen yojimbo and how many times have you seen its companion film sanjiro? after multiple viewings, i found i liked sanjiro more. just curious.

I've seen each 3, possibly 4 times.  Reviews for the last 2 viewings are on up on my website.

martin, i read your reviews (newest, bluray verions)--i likes.
yojimbo probably is the more perfect film (of the the two), but in my most recent viewing. i found sanjiro more fun--i think that's what does it for me. i will try to rewatch the more recent, remastered version of yojimbo; the last time i saw yojimbo was its initial criterion release. cheers.

Very happy with Minority Report on there and I'm sure both 1SO and I will support your placement of Perfume (though I really need to watch it again).

Nice list, Martin T.  We have 10 in common.  Off the top of my head, seems like Vertical Ray of the Sun and I Fidanzati significantly dropped in ranking?  True or not, I know you're huge fans of both and all 100.  Love and Death!  Nowadays, I prefer pre-Annie Hall WA.  *Runs from tomatoes*

Lobby, love your list.  This is England is the business.  The aesthetics of Rumble Fish-- impressive.  My bros, sisters, and I used to watch so many airings of Can't Buy Me Love on cable and HBO back in the day!  Still watch it whenever it's on.  We share 3 titles in common, but maybe 2 instead since The Godfather is listed twice.  Is one of them supposed to be Part 2?

79   Perfume: the story of a murderer

Which one?
84   Crash
