Great list Martin, I already knew we have similar tastes but what a pleasant surprise your #41!
it's a pity it remains the only feature directed by Lucile Hadzihalilovic.

It surprised me too.  "Am I really doing this?"  I take my list fairly seriously (none of this random Vishnevetsky madness for me) but it felt right.

Thanks!

It's on Bondo's list as well, unless he's taken it off.  And yes, it is quite a pity.

Moving up are Linda Linda Linda, The Vertical Ray of the Sun

Was sad for a few seconds about I Fidanzati and The Beautiful Washing Machine but then the former is still in and the latter, I'm sure has been put on some FSers' to-see list because of your prior inclusion  8)

Always look forward to a new Martin list. Nothing too surprising as I've been reading about your evolving tastes with your reviews. Your list is also full of films I just watched in the last couple of years. I know you focus on the ones I found disappointing, but the titles jumping out at me are Cairo Station, The Lineup, Sita Sings the Blues, The Wayward Cloud, Hausu, Stop Making Sense and of course the double-whammy of Charulata and Mahanagar. (I'd say The Music Room is just as good.)
This has me looking forward to my upcoming rewatch of  The 7th Victim with Mrs. 1SO even more.
Happy to read of Girl Walk // All Day making your 101-250.

Did Visage move up from last year?

Your list wasn't too shocking and I am finding myself familiar with the basic themes.  I need to thank you for two major introductions in my filmwatching due to your high regard: Tsai as a director and the film The Scent of Green Papaya.  Were it not for you, I doubt I ever would have the joy of experiencing these films.  And what a great joy they are! Thanks!

I Fidanzati didn't drop that far, only 18 spots.  BWM is one that I hope other people check out, but when it came time to make cuts it was an easy choice.  I haven't developed a strong attachment to it yet, but I do think it's wonderfully intriguing.

I emailed the GWAD guys about DVD availability, and apparently they're working on Blu-Rays.  Yay!

Did Visage move up from last year?

Nope, same spot.
