Dazy, these are in my top 100-ish:

A Matter of Life and Death (Stairway to Heaven)
Rear Window
Vertigo
Taxi Driver
Apocalypse Now
The Shining
Airplane
Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark
Blue Velvet
Do the Right Thing
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Most surprised at the inclusion of Paris, je t'aime.  Omnibus films usually don't make many lists of favorites.

HazyDavy, a great list. Seeing Attach the Block on the list particularly caught my eye. Have you seen The Raid? (not sure why I am linking those two movies, but they linked in my head when I saw AtB in the list).

It was the new Judge Dredd that was compared to The Raid. Very similar premise. Both good action films. Raid 2- the only caveat is its 2 and half hours long; curious as to how many kicks in the head that adds up to.

I'd never seen Your Studio and You.  Quite funny.
